Food & Drink Option Update from University of Warwick

Hi All,

I’m writing this ahead of the convention to let you know of a change to the usual facilities we and other conventions at the Warwick Arts Centre usually use.

We usually book to have The Dirty Duck open during the weekend of Kitacon events but due to renovation works, The Dirty Duck will sadly be unavailable starting in late July and will not reopen until the 14th of September.

In response we have been able to negotiate a separate food and drinks solution with the Warwick Student’s Union, so we’ll still have a variety of food offerings via their Food Station and drinks service at the Terrace Bar.

We are also currently in talks with the Warwick Student’s Union to expand the menu usually on offer at the Food Station to match that of The Dirty Duck more closely. We’ll release more details on this as we get it.

We know this is disappointing to hear as The Dirty Duck has been a core part of every convention at Warwick for a long time, and we’re grateful to the Warwick SU for helping us build an alternative solution.
